Sports nutrition:

Jake: I went to Lisa for help in stabilizing my weight in preparation for the up and coming London marathon. As a result of her support and advice, not only did I learn about healthy eating, I ended up losing weight, feeling great, and completed the London marathon in my best time ever. I was feeling so good that I wasn’t tempted to put unhealthy foods into my body.

Karin: I consulted Lisa for help with my long standing digestive troubles. She was able to explain what was going on with me. She recommended foods to avoid and include to help address my symptoms. We pinpointed my digestive issues with a lab test. With her enthusiasm and support, and I made the changes and my digestive problems have settled down.

Vegetarian nutrition:

Lynn: I was unsure if my daughter, who had recently become a vegetarian, had a healthy diet, and I didn’t know what to cook for her. I went to Lisa to find out more about vegetarian nutrition. I was reassured that a vegetarian diet that is not based on junk foods can be healthy.  I was advised what foods to make sure I included, and in what combinations, and was given loads of recipe ideas and suggestions.

Hormonal Health:

Pamela: I didn’t know that there was something I could do except suffer every month from PMS.  This was a monthly feature of my life and I thought it was something I had to live it, and could do nothing more than grit my teeth and bear it. With dietary changes within 3 months I felt like a new person: my sugar cravings decreased and then came under control, my moods stabilised, and my swelling and water retention reduced. I now know what to do.

Weight loss:

Philippe: I had been yo yo dieting most of my life and was at a loss what else I could do to lose my excess weight which seemed to increase by the year. Through nutrition therapy I learned that it was not a problem of being weak willed and lacking self discipline, but actually a metabolic problem which I could alter through changes in eating (both food selection and timing) could control. Within a month of making the changes my sugar cravings were much reduced, and after 3 months gone (as long as I followed the program). My energy levels and moods have improved. Amazingly I don’t feel hungry and get to eat all of the time and I am losing weight steadily, especially around my belly!
